We will be attending Once Upon a Con in 2025. Ongoing projects include book three edits, new artwork, and individual writing endeavors.

We will be a special guest at another event next year!

When we first started this writing journey, I just wanted to have some fun with something cool that we did. I wanted to hold our book and put it out into the world. The idea of us having book signings, being on a bookish podcast, or attending book conventions/festivals was not really on my radar.

Yet, here we are, doing all the cool things! Insert excited squealing noises here!

Once Upon a Con is August 14-17 2025 in Lancaster, PA! It is going to be a whole fantasy con with multiple events going on! We are super excited about this event! All the VIP tickets already sold out, but general sale tickets will be available to purchase starting July 1st of this year. Check out the event below, and follow them on your socials to catch sight of our social media takeover!

What have we been up to?

Mystifying Magic Shoppe

We have a lot of new artwork to show off! Graphite Geek (who also created our covers) made a logo for Mystifying, and portraits of Ana, Erin, and Melody!

We adore everything, and we are so excited to show them off!

Check out her Instagram page to see some of the other art she creates!

Our new website is nearly ready to show off! We’ve seen the preview, and it is AMAZING! As soon as that goes live, we will let everyone know on our socials! You will also be able to spy the artwork above in an extra-special place on the site!

We are still chipping away at book three edits! We are about a third of the way through the book, which might not seem like a lot, but that is both of us having gone through those chapters, complete scene re-writes, and then another read through from both of us after those rewrites, so we are feeling pretty good with the progress. Once we are done with all the rewrites and major edits, we will send it off for our copyright and then we will be in the homestretch. Once the copyright comes through, others will get the chance to read over it and give us edits. Then we will read through again and get a physical copy printed to check for edits and printing errors.

As mentioned in the last newsletter, both of us are working on our own projects as well. Moore had a huge bout of motivation and got done all of her big picture edits for her project this week. She sent it to her review team for comments and then she will do another round of heavy edits before fine tuning and going on to the next step!

Dorian is nearly done with her major edits. She added quite a bit of content to the first draft and loves how everything is working. She has an editing tracker she’s been posting on her Instagram stories @dorianbookfae if you want to check in on her progress. Dorian plans to have it out in the world before the big events next year.
