A group of women must stand against an old enemy determined to bring war and steal the magic of the realms.

Somewhere in San Francisco, there's a small row of shops. Flowers spring up from the cobbled walking path, and in front of one shop is a dark wooden sign with scrolled letters spelling out the word: Mystifying. If you step inside, you'll find shelves filled with magic and a woman who looks like she was not made for this world. Unbeknownst to most who enter, nestled in the back room of the shop, rests a portal to the other realms. A battle is brewing on the horizon, an old enemy is making moves, crowns are being sought after, and a group of women will need to be ready to make a stand. Ainadelothien, Ana to her friends, has lost everything. She’s lost her parents, her kingdom, and the brother she was meant to protect. Now the elven princess hides away in the human realm, standing guard at the very portal she used to escape her collapsing realm. But the past is coming back for her and she just might find that not everything was lost. Erin grew up in the foster system, with only a single constant in her life: Gabe. They grew up together, had each other's backs, and had a friendship that could have grown into so much more if the system hadn’t separated them. A chance encounter not only brings back her friend, but is also the start of revealing that she has power within her, passed down from a parent that she never met. Briar has a rare ability to see into possible futures, but she didn't see the fall of her realm until it was too late. Now a member of the invading forces is there to take her, for her powers could help end the war of the realms and pull the crown off of the erebi queen. Seemingly different lines of fate are all crossing in order to bring an end to the war of the realms before the world as they know it is lost forever. Mystifying is a four book series that crosses through the four realms the world has been broken into. A new adult fantasy, told through different points of view, shows that sometimes family doesn’t come from where we are born, and sometimes the enemy is not who we expect.
