We Are In The Wild
You can always order books directly from us on our beautiful website. BUT, our books are out in the wild at a few local stores. So if you are stopping in any of these places, we’d love for you to find our book, take a picture, and give us a tag, or pick it up from the shop to support some indie bookstores! Hockessin Bookshelf holds a special place in our heart. They were the first store to carry us and have us in for a signing. They have a few copies of some of our books and they also have a great collection of YA and children’s books. Even better! I always love stopping in there, they carry a ton of signed books, and they are placed with the genre, so it is always so cool to see your book mixed in with well-known authors. As of right now, they are online only, but they only carry indie books. It is a great way to find a new author, and give an indie a chance! Bookish Getaway
Well, we don’t know if it will be a new tradition, but it was a great trip! We spent last weekend in New York City having a bookish girls’ weekend! We stayed in The Library Hotel with a view of the New York Library, walked down Library Way, and enjoyed the hotel’s reading room and bookish themed rooftop bar. Dorian also got to check off visiting The Ripped Bodice from her bookstore bucket list (yes, she has a bucket list of bookstores she wants to visit! AND YES, she left with a bag FULL of books! She had to make it worth the visit!) It was a great weekend trip and a nice way to re-energize for everything we have coming up! Also, if you want a bookish getaway but can’t get to New York, we recommend The Bookhouse Hotel. We were able to visit for our podcast episode and loved the place! K.L. Moore’s First Solo Novel! The countdown has started! Lighthouse will release on September 8th!
Once Upon a Con Event Change
Once Upon a Con is changing location. More information can be found on their socials (https://www.facebook.com/groups/313788388290328/) Once Upon a Con will now be at the Gaylord National Harbor! We are still attending authors at the event, and we are looking forward to seeing you there! It was an honor to be invited as signing authors for this new book con, and we are excited to join in such a large bookish community. For anyone unhappy about the change, we completely understand how disappointing it can be to have such a big change happen after already making plans. They are giving refunds for those that are now unable to attend, please reach out to Once Upon a Con if you are now in need of one. If you were looking forward to seeing us while you were there, you can still purchase signed copies of our books on our website.
